A federally funded energy assistance program administered by Family and Children Services begins accepting applicants based on age and income requirments December 2.
To schedule an appointment, Pierce County residents may call 912-900-3070 or go to www.myactionpact.org and click on “Schedule My Energy Assistance Appointment”.
Only households where all adult members are 65 or older or all adult members are medically homebound may apply beginning 8:30 a.m. December 2, 2024. All other low-income households may apply beginning January 2, 2025, if funds are still available.
Funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, firstserved basis. Eligibility for this program is determined by the income of all adults living in the household.
The number of people in the household and allowable total annual household income are as follows: One person - $33,038, two people - $43,203, three people - $53,369, four people $63,535, five people $73,700, six people - $83,866, seven people - $85,772, eight people - $87,678.
