A group of Ware County School staffers were recognized at the November meeting of the Ware County Board of Education for completing Optimiz-Ed certification to become PK-12 Certified Educational Data Professionals. The year-long course required participants to delve deep into topics like FERPA and Data Privacy, Custody and Guardianship, Student Enrollment and Withdrawal Law, FTE and State Reporting, School Accountability, serving ESOL/Migrant/McKinney Vento Populations, and others. The system is proud of their commitment to sharpening their knowledge and skills to better serve our community, families, students, and staff. Those earning certification were Abbie Howell, Amanda Scheuing, Bridgette White, Brittany Hendrix, Brittany Leggett, Chelsea Thomas, Cheryl Griffin, Chesley Lairsey, Cierah White, Corlee Devane, Crissy Patterson, Darlene Todd, Dee Dickson, Donna Russell, Faith Tanner, Gina Bryson, Ginnie White, Halli Harper, Julia Graves, Julie Aldridge.
