A group of Ware County School staffers were recognized at the November meeting of the Ware County Board of Education for completing Optimiz-Ed certification to become PK-12 Certified Educational Data Professionals. The year-long course required participants to delve deep into topics like FERPA and Data Privacy, Custody and Guardianship, Student Enrollment and Withdrawal Law, FTE and State Reporting, School Accountability, serving ESOL/Migrant/McKinney Vento Populations, and others. The system is proud of their commitment to sharpening their knowledge and skills to better serve our community, families, students, and staff.
