MSH gets Gold Designation

Memorial Satilla Health has received a Gold Designation from the Department of Public Health for the hospital’s participation in the Acute Care Antibiotic Stewardship Program. “This recognition is a testament to your ongoing commitment to promoting responsible antibiotic use and improving patient outcomes in the acute care setting,” said Fantasia Gorham, program coordinator for DPH. The Antibiotic Stewardship Program offers consultations for facilities interested in strengthening their antibiotic stewardship program. “We’re incredibly proud to receive a gold designation from DPH,” MSH Chief Executive Officer Dale Neely said. “This recognition highlights our dedicated team’s efforts to ensure effective, responsible treatment for our patients. We remain steadfast in our mission to care like family for our patients and each other,” said Neely. With the award are (l-r): Pharmacy Director Jimmy Godwin, Hospitalist Dr. Omar Butt, and Pharmacy Manager Nick Linde.
