Jack E. Wade, 84, of Yulee, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, FL, after a short illness.
He was born April 21, 1938 in Bacon County but had lived most of his life in Yulee, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simeon James Wade and Daisy Boatright Wade and sister, Corliss Stephens.
Survivors include four children, Jack “Jackie” Wade (Kathy), Yulee, FL, Gwendolyn Wade, Penny Cassano (Mark), Green Cove Springs, FL and Corliss Willis (Billy), Brunswick; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Robert “Cricket” Watson officiating.
Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Treye Wade, Blake Cassano, Brett Cassano, Ashton Keith, Billy Willis and Ethan Walls.
Crosby Funeral Home of Alma is in charge of arrangements.
