Just as Black Friday and Cyber Monday were created for marketing, Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year’s Giving Tuesday will be held Dec. 3.
Okefenokee FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has launched a campaign to utilize #Giving Tuesday to raise funds to provide a personalized FCA Bible to every senior athlete in Bacon, Brantley, Pierce and Ware counties.
The cost to reach this goal is approximately $6,000. Please consider supporting our efforts to put the Word of God in the hands of our senior athletes.
