Ware County’s Lady Gators notched three wins, two at home, to remain unbeaten on the young season.
The Lady Gators (4-0) dominated the Class A DII 10th-ranked Lady Rebels (02) winning 68-25 Tuesday, November 19.
Ware County downed visiting Class 6A Valdosta 60-31 Thursday, November 21. The game was originally schedule for Friday and changed to a day earlier with both schools’ football teams participating in the second round of the state playoffs.
The Lady Gators pulled away in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon to beat Class A DI Dodge County 55-48 in Hazlehurst.
Ware County played Monday night in Hazlehurst against tournament host Jeff Davis. The Lady Gators are off until Tuesday, December 3 when they travel to face Vidalia.

Ware County built a double-digit lead in the opening eight minutes, led by 17 at intermission and put the game away with a 30-point third quarter explosion highlighter by six threes.
Charlacia Jones (12 points) and Shardell Vickers (10 points) led 11 players in the Lady Gators’ scoring column.
Jones and Vicker scored six points each in the opening period to help Ware County build a 16-6 advantage. The Lady Gators outpointed Atco 11-4 in the second stanza to take a 27-10 halftime lead.
Alexis McNeil (eight points), Lydia Munford (eight points) and Bailey Denton (seven points) each connected twice from beyond the arc during the 30-point third period as the Lady Gators outscored the visitors by 21 points for a commanding 57-19 lead.
Ware County outpointed the Lady Rebels 11-6 during the “mercy rule” final period.
A’Treasure White was next in the scoring column for the Lady Gators with six points, followed by Bre Hill with five and Molly Smith with four. Rhi Mateyka and Larissa Revils contributed three points apiece with Charmaine Farrell bagging two points.
The Lady Rebels were led by the game-high 13-point outing of Jakari Northcutt.

The Lady Gators continued their fast starts racing out to a 13-point lead and steadily pulling away.
Ware County built a 22-9 advantage in the opening period. The scoring slowed in the second quarter with the Lady Gators holding a 7-4 advantage to take a 29-13 lead into the breaker.
A 12-10 scoring margin in the third stanza extended the margin to 41-23 for the Lady Gators. Ware County exploded over the final eight minutes outscoring the Lady Wildkittens 26-8 hitting four of its six treys in the game.
“We ran the floor well,” said head coach Mandy Lingenfelter.
Shardell Vickers scored a gamehigh and career-high 20 points to go along with a team-leading eight rebounds. She also recorded two steals and one block.
Lydia Munford (two treys, four assists, team-leading three steals) scored eight of her 12 points in the fourth quarter. Bailey Denton drilled three treys in scoring nine points.
Charlacia Jones (four rebounds, block) followed with seven points with Bre Hill (seven rebounds, two blocks) contributing six points. Molly Smith finished with five points.
Rhianna Mateyka (seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, block) bagged four points. Kyla McKelvin (team-leading seven assists, two steals) and A’Treasure White each scored two points. Alexis McNeal handed out six assists, grabbed two rebounds, recorded a steal and had a block.

HAZLEHURST — Ware County held off a second-half surge by the Lady Squaws to remain perfect on the season.
Dodge County battled back from a nine-point halftime deficit to tie the game at 35-all with one quarter to play. The Lady Gators regrouped for a 20-13 scoring advantage to notch the victory.
Ware County led 12-4 after the opening stanza. The Lady Gators added one point to its margin in the second quarter outscoring Dodge County 11-10 for a 23-14 halftime lead.
The Squaws went on a 21-12 run in the third period to even the score at 35-all.
