Better Hometown Blackshear and Pierce Chamber of Commerce promote local businesses
Main Street/Better Hometown Blackshear and the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the 2024 Shop Small Christmas Crawl, a festive initiative to promote local shopping and dining this holiday season.
Lasting from this weekend until December 20, the event gives locals and visitors a fun way to support small businesses and enter to win a spectacular holiday prize basket.
Participants join the Christmas Crawl by picking up a special punch card at any participating Chamber or Main Street member business. Each card represents $200 spent locally with 10 spaces worth $20 each. Shoppers and diners can get their card marked when purchasing at participating retailers and restaurants.
Completed cards must be turned in at the Chamber of Commerce or Main Street offices by December 20. Each completed card is one entry into the big drawing. The lucky winner receives a basket loaded with gift cards and goodies from participating businesses.
The Christmas Crawl aligns with the mission of both organizations to promote local business and community spirit. “Blackshear is a town built on its strong sense of community,” said Chamber Director Christi Pitts. “By shopping and dining locally, we’re investing in our neighbors and ensure a bright future for our small businesses.”
Shoppers can share their adventures on social media using the hashtag #ShopSmallBlackshear. For more info and a list of participating businesses, contact the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, The Main Street Program or visit their website.
