Clay and Brooke Thomas with Crossway Realty provided an overview of the company’s Silent Santa project at a recent Rotary Club meeting. Silent Santa is a customized Santa experience for children and young adults with special needs. Families make appointments to visit Santa, take Christmas photos, enjoy arts/crafts and snacks courtesy of Santa Claus and his team of elves at Crossway. The event, now in its sixth year, serves at least 32 families each Christmas season. The project is funded by local realtors. “This is where our heart is,” said Clay Thomas.
