Photos by Greg O’Driscoll I am thankful for the fact that I'm still alive and breathing after my four wheeler wreck. I'm thankful for all the near death experiences I've had. Without these experiences, I would be a boring person. I'm thankful for my friends: Ella, Carson, Trent, Hunter, Alejandro, CJ, Isaiah, Zayden, Camden, and Bre. For I’ve had great memories with all of them, maybe fun, but definitely dangerous. What I'm saying is I'm thankful for the people in my life, the life I live, and I thank God for everything I do,eat, and see. I'm thankful for the dogs I’ve had and have. I see that I’m really thankful to be in a home and fed.

I’m thankful for God helping me when I was 5 years old. I had a problem in my heart. My heart was not completely closed, so I needed surgery. The doctors needed to put a thin hose in my leg and make a cut where the hose would run from my leg to my heart. When the piece was in place, it would open like an umbrella, gluing the opening in my heart closed. I was in the hospital for six months. I’m very thankful that God helped me through this surgery.
— Daniel Lopez Perez I'm grateful for my grandparents because without them, I don't know where I would be. I get to have a good life and experience new things and get to be who I am today thanks to them.

I am thankful for God, my family, friends, and sports. I'm thankful for my family because they do a lot for me, and also they are always there supporting me at sports events, school events, etc. It is essential to give thanks to those who have supported you. They will always love me regardless of my actions. The second thing I'm thankful for is my friends. My friends help me remember who I really am, and who I can become. They remind me of what I deserve and what's really best for me and my wellbeing. True friends are there through your best and darkest times. They help you get your mind off things that may be bothering you. They comfort you when you need it and make you feel loved and supported. I appreciate that connection. The last two things I'm thankful for are God and sports. If it wasn't for God, I would not achieve any of my goals in sports. Sports involves bonds with some of your best friends and fun games and practices. The Lord wants us to be thankful for His providence and sovereignty. Jesus wants us to be thankful for giving His life for our sins, so being thankful for Him is necessary to live a prosperous life.
— Kamil Strickland I'm thankful for my grandma and my life because my grandma took me in when my momma or daddy couldn't. She has done so much for me, and I'm very thankful for her. I'm also thankful for my grandma and my life. In 2016 grandma and I got involved in a really bad car accident that could have taken our lives, but we pulled through and she still took care. — Alyssa Vail
