Pierce County Middle School’s Bears won their final two games in a threeday, three-game slate of action.
Waycross Middle built an early lead and never let the Bears get back in the Monday, November 18 tilt winning 41-26.
PCMS pulled away over the final three quarters in a non-conference game Tuesday, November 19 at Frederica Academy winning 48-19.
The Bears slipped past visiting Brantley County Middle School 32-31 Wednesday, November 20.
No report was filed on the Pierce Middle-Ware County Middle School matchup played Thursday, November 21 at Ware Middle.

BEARVILLE — Waycross Middle jumped out to a 15-point first quarter lead and cruised to the win over the Bears.
Bryson Munsun, Chase Cone and Rahiem McGauley scored seven points apiece to lead eight players in the scoring column for the Bulldogs.
Braylen Williams and Jazion White were next with six points and five points respectively. Ah’Jaiden Butler netted three points while Jimmy Taylor and Tre’van Johnson chipped in two points apiece.
Up 16-1 by the end of the first period, Waycross Middle stretched its margin to 20 points outscoring PCMS 9-4 in the second period opening a 25-5 margin.
The Bears outscored the visitors in the second half. Pierce Middle whittled four points off the deficit by the end of the third period using a 9-5 scoring advantage to get to within 30-14. PCMS outscored the Bulldogs 12-11 in the final quarter.
Damon Moody scored a game-high 11 points to lead the Bears. Will Higginson (trey) followed with seven points. Miles Pitts and Jared Watson hit a three apiece for three points. Jayme Perez netted two points.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND — Pierce Middle pulled away from a one-point lead after one period in beating the Knights.
Moody (game-high 14 points) and Mason Hutcheson (11 points) combined for 25 points to lead the Bears. Seven other players reached the scoring column.
PCMS led just 5-4 after one quarter. A 13-4 scoring advantage in the second period extended the margin to 18-8 at intermission.
The Bears outscored Frederica Academy 13-9 in the third stanza to take a 31-17 lead. The scoring quickened in the final period with PCMS holding a 17-12 advantage.
Higginson followed Moody and Hutcheson with eight points. Braylen Allen netted three points. Miles Pitts, Greyson Raulerson, Jude Crews, Dawson Brody and Watson chipped in two points each.
Bears....................32 Herons..................31 BEARVILLE — PCMS outscored the Herons by three points in the final period in rallying from a 22-20 deficit.
Moody scored 10 of his game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter and 16 overall in the second half to lead the Bears.
Brantley Middle’s Alex Keen scored 17 points connecting on five treys. The Herons hit seven threes for the game.
The visitors built a 134 first quarter lead drilling four treys. PCMS outscored the Herons 83 in the second period to cut the margin to 16-12 at intermission.
The Bears sliced two more points off the deficit during the third stanza outscoring Brantley Middle 8-6 to trail 22-20. Pierce Middle closed with a 12-9 scoring advantage.
Pitts and Higginson chipped in three points apiece for the Bears. Hutcheson netted two points.
Chase Murray followed Keen’s lead with four points. Kase Crews and Payton Jackson each contributed three points. Brooks Anderson and Steven Cook bagged two points apiece.
