Curated Closet Consignment Boutique cuts ribbon

It was a drizzly, gray afternoon outside November 19, but under the new roof and inside the new Curated Closet Consignment Boutique guests were cozy, enjoying lively conversation and a wide selection of cool, colorful clothes. Upon entry, guests at the ribbon cutting of Blackshear’s newest business signed in, got tickets for a raffle, got their pick of free sets of earrings and then snacked on tasty charcuterie cups as they perused the racks and got to know proprietor April Wolfe.

The latest in a growing community of local businesswomen, Wolfe says this isn’t her first time starting a business. “My aunt and I opened Classy Ragz in 2006.” Circumstances eventually dictated she go back to corporate life, using her talents on HR and staffing in the healthcare industry, but Wolfe says she is now back where she belongs. “Twelve years later, here we are!” Wolf said with a laugh. “I love it. I don’t like retail, but I love consignment That’s fun to me.”

Steady at Wolfe’s side is her family. Megan Ince, Wolfe’s sister, helps run things and will eventually be opening what could only be called a “sister” location in St. Marys. Wolfe’s husband Casey is also more than willing to help out, “After work on the weekends, I’ll be right there at the register, helping ring people up.”

The newest member of a once-more growing Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, Wolfe is excited to see where this latest journey takes her. Come see all the Curated Closet has to offer at 340 Highway 84 in Blackshear.
