FORSYTH, Ga. — Marion Carmichael Hall, 84, of Forsyth, Ga., passed away Tuesday November 12, 2024.
Born December 9, 1939, in Manor to the late Worsley Duncan Carmichael and the late Myrtie Cathel ene Howard. A memorial service was held Tuesday November 19, at Lizella Baptist Church 2950 South Lizella Road, Lizella.
Ms. Hall graduated from Waycross High School, then attended Jones Junior Business College where she graduated with honors. She retired after many years of service from Robins Air Force base, then again from AT&T as an executive analyst in the information technology department. Ms. Hall enjoyed her career, but loved to spend time with her family.
She was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 360 and a member of the auxiliary at Monroe County Hospital. She was a faithful member of Lizella Baptist Church and loved gospel music. Ms. Hall spent many hours in prayer for her family, friends, and community. She loved to share a good laugh and story over a cup of coffee.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hall also was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dean Martin, Jr.; and sisters Anita Ekenrode and Nina Walker.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanna Clevenger (Kevin) of Forsyth and Melanie Hunter of Macon; grandchildren, Timothy Martin (Stacy) of Gray, Ga., Kyle Clevenger (Reva) of Gray, Shannan Zinnert (Chris) of Juliette, Ga., and Kacie Clevenger of Forsyth; as well as 18 great grandchildren.
