CALLAHAN, Fla, — , Rebecca “Becky” Jean Harris-Deal, 49, of Callahan passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Waycross, Mrs. Harris-Deal’s parents are Leonard Harris and the late Sylvia Manders Harris. She also was preceded in death by her patern a l grandfat her, Joseph Harris; and maternal grandfather, Eugene Manders.
Becky was a Registered Nurse for UF Health Hospital and attended Buford Grove Baptist Church. She was an avid bow hunter who loved fishing in their pond, riding four-wheelers and spending time with Chuck (the boy).
Survivors include her husband, Lindon Deal of Callahan; father, Leonard Harris of Nahunta; brother, Preston Harris of Nahunta; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel Restrepo (Bernard) of Nahunta; paternal grandmother, Iva Harris; as well as several other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held Saturday, November 16 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with the Rev. David Farrior officiating. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Justin Deal, Drew Harris, Christoper Harris, Noah Restrepo, David Benjamin and Devin Harris.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
