Donna Kay Robinson Smith, 66, of Patterson, passed away Sunday morning, December 11, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Waycross, August 10, 1956, she had lived in Jacksonville for many years before moving to Pierce County in 2004. She was an honest, hardworking wife and homemaker. She enjoyed watching British dramas and true crime shows, as well as taking care of her plants. She was a member of Truth Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
She was a daughter of the late Layton Robert Robinson and Harriet Ann Griffin Foster. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Robin Marie Roberts and a brother, Jesse Lavon Floyd.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Charles Steven Smith, Patterson; two daughters, Carissa Lee Broadwater (husband, Casey Lee Pollack), Antioch, TN and Sylvia Lucille Smitt,Patterson; two sons, Steven Russell (Larissa) Smith, Waycross and William Robert Smith, Patterson; a brother, Charles Joseph Floyd Jr., Jesup; a grandchild, Zayden Joel Smith; one special niece, Kerri Ann Howland, Orient, IA; a special nephew, Robert T. Townsend, Jacksonville, FL and several other nieces, nephews and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, from the Truth Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
