BROOKS COUNTY, Ga. — Mr. Kendall Ray Thomas, 58, died Friday night, November 1, 2024, at his residence in Brooks County.
Thomas was born April 1, 1966 in Waycross to the late James “Keith” Thomas and Norma “Joyce” Thomas. He was a lifelong resident of Hoboken until moving recently to Brooks County to be with his grandchildren.
Thomas graduated from Brantley County High School in 1984. He then went on to continue his education in 1986 at Gem City College in Quincy, Ill., and graduated with his diploma as a Goldsmith.
Thomas had been a jeweler for the past 38 years, specializing in custom jewelry design and repair. He owned and operated Hart Jewelers since 2013.
Thomas was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, and visiting the mountains with his family. His grand babies were the light of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Christy Stokes Thomas of Brooks County; children Keith Thomas of Statesboro and Kerri Pena (Fernando) of Quitman, Ga.; grandchildren, Stetson Pena and Selah-Grace Pena; a brother, Jeffrey Keith Thomas; niece, Megan Hall (Shawn); nephews, Benjamin Thomas and Ethan Thomas (Emily); great niece and great nephew, Addisyn and Kamdyn Hall; and numerous other relatives.
