BRUNSWICK — Mrs. Annette Elizabeth Glenn, 85, died Saturday morning November 2, 2024, peacefully at her sister’s home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Glenn was born to the late Joseph Foster Sapp, Sr., and the late Louise Elizabeth Lott Sapp, on August 8, 1939, in Hoboken. She grew up in South Georgia and graduated from Blackshear High School in 1957. At 19, Mrs. Glenn moved to Pleasant Hill, Calif., for 46 years, before she returned to Waycross. In California, she was employed by Bank of America, where she retired as branch manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Glenn; daughter, Tina Ambrose; two brothers, Tommy Sapp and Joey Sapp; four sisters, Peggy Beese, Lawanna Buie, Carol Ann Rowland, and Bonnie Sapp.
Mrs. Glenn is survived by one grandson, Max James of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Carolyn Moody of Brunswick, and Kathy Roberts of Brookhaven, Miss.; one brother, Jerry Sapp of Waycross; two special nieces, Angel Curry of Waycross and Tammy Farr of Blackshear; and numerous other great nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Tuesday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery.
