‘Crush the Crisis’ collects nearly 35 pounds of medication

Memorial Satilla Health, the Ware County Sheriff’s Office and the Waycross Exchange Club teamed up Saturday, October 26 on the Knight Avenue grounds of the Exchange Club for the annual “Crush the Crisis” medication collection drive. Citizens deposited outdated or unused medication for proper disposal. Taking part in the collection were (l-r) MSH Director of Marketing Sarah Gove, Exchange Club member Melissa King, MSH Director of Pharmacy Jimmy Godwin, Ware County Sheriff’s Office Det. Kyle Strickland, MSH Pharmacy Tech Alesha Wright, MSH Director of Security and Emergency Management Phil LeClaire, and Ware County Sheriff’s Office Major Neil Skerratt. The collection yielded 34.8 pounds of unused medication.
