The Waycross-Ware County Bicentennial Committee held a fundraiser gala on Saturday, September 21 at the Heart Pine Lakeside Venue in Waycross. The sparkling event was a fundraiser for the December community celebrations which will kick off following the Waycross Christmas parade Friday, December 13. The majority of the free activities will take place at the Waycross Fairgrounds December 14 and 15. The celebration weekend will include a concert by the wildly popular trio Chapel Heart followed by festive fireworks.
