Ware BOE meets Thurs. on millage The Ware County Board of Education will meet in a called meeting at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, October 31, at 1301 Bailey Street to adopt the millage rate and to discuss personnel and any other miscellaneous items.
The meeting is open to the public. The agenda is posted prior to the meeting and the minutes are posted as well on the system web page at www.ware.k12.ga.us under the District and e-Board links.
Unison has blood drive on Nov. 5 Unison Behavioral Health will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 5 in the facility’s training room, 1003 Mary Street.

OATH changes operating hours The Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless has changed its hours.
The new hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch is served to homeless clients from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Daily hours 1-5 p.m. are by appointment only. The facility previously was open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday- Thursday.
All recovery meetings in partnership with The Trust will be held 1-2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. People should ring the front door bell for admittance.
