Hutcheson
WAYCROSS — Mrs. Ethel Mae Hutcheson, 89, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Waycross Health and Rehabilitation following a short illness.
She was born in Hazlehurst, Ga., to the late L.W. and Alice Brantley. She retired from Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross foll owing many years of employm ent. Mrs. Hutcheson was member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas E. Hutcheson.
Mrs. Hutcheson is survived by her son, Steven Hutcheson of Waycross; and a brother, L.W. Brantley, Jr. (Patsy) of Hazelhurst.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, October 30) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1 p.m. today.
