WAYCROSS — Tommy Lee Ennis, 62, of Waycross, died Thursday morning, October 10, 2024, at his residence after a sudden illness.
Ennis was born in Pembroke, Ga., to the late Rufus L. Ennis and Rose Shirlene Altman Ennis and made Waycross his home for 40 years. He enjoyed building and tinkering on different projects along with fishing and finding a deal at the Goodwill.
Ennis is survived by a daughter, Leeann Warren (husband Larry) of Blackshear; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Warren of Blackshear; three brothers, Ronald L. Ennis (wife Christina) of Waycross, Fred D. Ennis of Waycross, and Ted W. Ennis (wife Ellen) of Blackshear; two sisters, Sharon M. Ennis of Waycross, and Cindy Altman of Niagara Falls, Canada; his puppy, Sheva; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Monday, October 14 in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Waters Cemetery.
