Following Hurricane Helene, Georgia Power has introduced flexible installment payment plans to assist customers with their recovery from Hurricane Helene.
The initiative allows customers to spread current account balances over two, four or six months in equal installments, added to future bills.
Also, the utility has suspended disconnections and waived all eligible late fees. Collection activities also have been paused through December 15.
To take advantage of the installment plan, customers need to enroll by November 30. Enrollment is available through a customer account on the payment arrangements page or he automated phone system at (877) 403-7149.
Georgia Power also is aiding recovery with a $3 million pledge through multiple charitable foundations.
