Pamela Dianne “Pam” Lee Murray, 59, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville.
Born in Waycross March 3, 1963, she had lived in Pierce and Ware counties most of her life. She worked in accounting at Rogers State Prison. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her flowers. She also enjoyed fishing, baking and cross-stitching. She was a member of Youmans Chapel Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late William Henry and Pinkie Gillard Lee. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Bernard Lee, Gene Lee and Charles Lee and two grandchildren, Ryan Dixon and Baby Braddock.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Roger Murray; three daughters, Stephanie (Jacob) Brunette, Beth (Marc) Aldridge and Lisa Braddock, all of Blackshear; three sons, Zeb Murray, Randall Braddock and Lonnie (Shanna) Braddock, all of Blackshear, three sisters, Joanna (Jimmy) Watson, Nashville, Alice (Max) Eddy, Madison, AL and Barbra Lovelace, White; a brother, John (Paula) Gillard, Phenix City, AL; 16 grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Johnson Anderson, Blackshear; a special niece, Cindy Dial, Waycross many other nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 6, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 7, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will be in the Hephzibah Cemetery.
