WAYCROSS — Mr. Roy Robinson, 77, died suddenly Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health.
Robinson was born December 28, 1946 in Pierce County to the late Clyde Robinson and Jenny Bertha Hall Robinson.
He retired from the Pierce County Board of Education, and was formerly employed by the City of Blackshear Road Maintenance Department for 14 years.
Robinson was a member of Offerman Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, and socializing with family and friends whom he deeply loved.
Survivors include his life partner of 14 years, Stepheny Walker Kirton of Waycross; five children, Pamela Robinson Maynes of Pierce County, Eddie Robinson of Pierce County, Jessica Kirton Middleton (Matt) of Townsend, Ga., Morgan Kirton Dyal (Eric) of Blackshear, and Will Kirton (Halana) of Ware County; grandchildren, Stephen Bailey (Lily), see OBITS, Page 5
