A footing prepared for the greater good does so in a frame of mind built to last, come what may. It is not quick to scurry to mischief.
However, it’s a heart unified and geared to do more so one sees the light at the end and uses the light as fuel.
There’s a confidence in one’s destiny that no one can eclipse. A collaboration of freedom and maturity motions us to walk out our individual strides.
This footing is sure and is not duplicated, a divinely chartered path unveiling new land to possess. Then there are detours, causing a deviated route for an easier path. All the while, the grueling trials, trauma and even turbulence are the road less traveled with the light at the end of the tunnel.
At first glance, the light is far off, with its reach not appearing to be obtainable. As we proceed through diverse times, it is the Lord that gives us the ability to gain success.
To tread along these roads of life, the light becomes hope hanging in the balance. It is hope prompting us to hang in there. It is hope fulfilled having lasting impressions as we reach the mark.
The path has curves and swerves lengthening the tunnel to straighten the way. Reaching the illuminated destination is a marathon and not a sprint. Lest we forget, this race is not given to the swift, but to the one who endures. To put our trust in anything other than Adonai, the anchor will not hold us.
Where our trust in Him renders a resolve by which we stand firm, that is a resiliency not wavering. To go back and forth displaying our light, whatever is at the root, that’s the torch that is encumbered. In lay people’s terms, whoever lit the the pilot, that is who we will exemplify. That is also the example that will carry on the footing into the next era.
What we don’t see are the people who’ve watched us sojourn here and there.
Our journeys have inspired a plethora of minds and individuals to press on, keep going and don’t look back, hoping others will discover their footing and voice at just the right moment.
Those we have rubbed off on, even just a smidge, have become fruit from the labor of our hands.
A tree is known by the fruit it bears.
God references us as trees in the big picture.
In His design, we are perpetually bearing fruit in and out of season. If not, we should be.
The fruit we bear is our purpose at work. No fruit, no purpose, no purpose, no relationship, ergo no fulfillment.
Then there is the fruit and the light emitting from the fruit is the light at the end of the tunnel.
If we were solving for an equation, the tree plus fruit plus light equals a beacon of hope not to be erased. Sure to leave an indelible mark at the end of it all.
From the beginning to the end, we made it. We didn’t quit and definitely didn’t throw in the towel. With room to spare, we went back and carried others to the end boasting, “Not on my watch.”
Does one get left behind?
A true watchman makes it to the end, even if they have to carry others to the end on their backs.
This time, all the lights unifying as one send the message loud and clear: “We are one in the spirit, we are one in the Lord.”
