Connie Lynn Smith Allday, 62, of Blackshear, passed away Friday evening, November 18, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear November 8, 1960, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. She worked in the school cafeteria for many years and loved nothing more than serving her kids and giving them a big hug until COVID changed that. She enjoyed game nights with her family where she usually came out on top and going to the beach, especially her Bahamas trip. She was a devoted member of the Blackshear Church of God.
She was a daughter of the late Frank Hendry and Sarah Kathleen Owens Smith.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frankie Allday, Blackshear; two daughters, Adrienne (Luis) Ruiz, Blackshear and Caitlyn (Jamelle) Graham, Waycross; two sisters, Mary Beverly and Bonnie (Lamar) Roberson, both of Blackshear; two brothers, Wayne (Linda) Smith and Irving (Marie) Smith both of Blackshear and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Blackshear Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, from the Blackshear Church of God.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
Honorary pallbearers will be the lunchroom personnel from Blackshear Elementary. Please meet at the church by 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
