Florida Christian/Bible teacher Terrie Ward told a large audience gathered for the September meeting of the Waycross Aglow Lighthouse, “The greatest love we have is God’s love in us. Let God show you where He wants you to show up!’’

Speaking at Our Beloved Church, the Jacksonville, Fla., resident captured attention of her listeners commenting, “Praise God and speak life. As we’re obedient, He will take care of responsibilities. God has a reason for planting you where you are today.

“What is it you want God to see? Let go of it and be whole. God wants us to know He sees us. He has given us the capability of walking through storms.’’

Ward, who said she was born again at the age of 12 and committed her life to Christ in her 20s, added, “God offers forgiveness. Get rid of things in your life that don’t allow you to have the full power of God. My love for Jesus compels me to love others. We are in this world, but passing through.

“Don’t worry about what’s going on, but remember we’re just passing through. Today is the only thing that holds me up. God in us is our rock and salvation.’’

Introduced by Aglow leader Rosalind Eskew, Ward drew a comparison to the fall or harvest season in her address.

“I’m praying for a harvest. Plant a seed and be in intimate relationship with God. Let God carry you where he really wants you to be,” she said. “I’ve been born again, spiritually for many years and have learned He will deliver you from the evil of the day. I want the flowing river in my life so I can be a disciple.

“God fixes trauma at the end. We’re in a battle and we have to see God and He will strengthen you. You’re going through boot camp.’’

Ward teaches kindergarten/first grade at Beaches Chapel in Neptune Beach, Fla. She has been in the nail industry for more than 30 years and said God has used this venue in her life to minister to her clients.

She also serves in leadership at the Jacksonville Beach Women’s Aglow Lighthouse.

“God encourages us one step at a time. He knows our greatest needs, struggles, despair. He knows the good, the bad and the ugly,” she said. “The enemy tries to deceive you.”

“The Holy Spirit and the power of God are enough to deliver you and set you free. ... You are the most important to Him. ... Anything not of God is antichrist.’’

Worship music and special prayer also were part of the program. Waycross Aglow Lighthouse meets at 10 a.m. the second Saturday of every month.
