Virginia Lee Manning

BLACKSHEAR — Mrs. Virginia Lee Manning, 63, passed away Wednesday evening, September 11, 2024, at Harborview Pierce County following an extended illness.

Mrs. Manning was born in Fernandina Beach, Fla., to the late Joseph McGarity and Dorothy Douglas Harrell. She worked for various comp anies throughout the years including Colony Bank as a teller, office administration for a doctor office, and bill collections. She also attended Offerman Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Anna Leigh Briola and Kara Elizabeth Briola; and two brothers, Johnnie R. Mc-Daniel and Carl Fisher.

Mrs. Manning is survived by two sons, Steven Briola (Allyson) of Blackshear and Bubba Briola (Christy) of Savannah; four grandchildren, Brittany Briola, Steven Christopher Briola, Jr., Tessa Briola, and Kole Briola; three great grandchildren, Logan Meeks, Layton Meeks, and Wrenly Tatum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Saturday, September 14 at Oakland Cemetery.
