GREENVILLE, S.C. — Cynthia Wells Eblin, 76, of Greenville, S.C., passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2024, after a courageous eightyear battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Cherished wife of William Eblin for 52 years and dev oted mother to Jennifer Eblin Healy, Christy (Jason) Norton, and Will (Rebecca) Eblin, Mrs. Eblin was also a beloved grandmother to Drew, Liam, Easton, and Garrett.

Born on August 1, 1948, in Jesup, Mrs. Eblin was the daughter of Quinton and Cornelia Wells. She grew up in Hinesville, where she attended Bradwell Institute. Mrs. Eblin's dedication to her family was unwavering; she poured her heart into raising her children and actively supporting their academic and athletic pursuits in Waycross. She later retired as the Workforce Development Director from Southeast Georgia RDC.

Mrs. Eblin’s life was a testament to her enduring strength, grace, and kindness. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and her optimism and enthusiasm for life were truly inspiring. She delighted in spending time with her loved ones, whether cheering on her beloved University of Florida Gators or enjoying the serenity of surf fishing on Amelia Island beaches. Her playful and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her mother Cornelia, father Quinton, and brother Larry, Mrs. Eblin is survived by her siblings Lynette (Dan) Clark of Riceboro, Ga., Charlotte (Sam) Feigles of Riceboro, Leland (Wanda) Wells of , Melbourne, Fla., and Michael (Vonice) Wells, Washington, Ga.; as well as numerous cherished nieces and nephews.

A private family ceremony will be held, followed by cremation.

The family would also would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Interim Hospice of Greenville for its compassionate care during this time.
