The Ware County Republican Party will celebrate Constitution Day as part of the program for its monthly meeting Monday, September 16 at campaign headquarters, 960 A-B City Boulevard.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with various campaign activities scheduled such as phone banking, writing postcards, poll worker registration, and using the Trump Force 47 campaign program for door-to-door canvassing. The special program for Constitution Day will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a special speaker and a cake cutting to celebrate the event.
Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who’ve become U.S. citizens. It’s normally observed on September 17, the day in 1787 delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document.
Trump Force 47 Field Director Brittany Brown will address the group at 6 p.m. about the “Get Out the Vote” campaign. Participants will learn how to use the campaign phone app to make contact with their personalized list of voters.
The headquarters also will have available Trump 2024 yard signs as well as hats, T-shirts and other items for a donation. Text questions to (912) 282-5551.
