Shiloh MBC holds revival Sept. 24-26

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1701 Martin Luther King Drive, will stage a Fall Revival Tuesday- Thursday, September 24-26.

The Rev. Josh Davis of Folkston will be guest speaker for the 7 p.m. nightly worship services. The Rev. Allen Alonzo Dasher is Shiloh pastor.

Nahunta Methodist sets Homecoming Nahunta Methodist Church, 107 East Cleveland Street, will stage a special Homecoming worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 8.

Guest speaker will be the Rev. Robby Paulk, an elder in the South Georgia Annual Conference of The Global Methodist Church.

There will be special music for the program and lunch served following the service.

Paulk is pastor of Folkston Methodist Church and chaplain to the Charlton County Sheriff's Office. He has previously served churches in Tifton and Valdosta during his 11 years in ministry.

Feed My Sheep sets birthday program Peter Feed My Sheep holds a birthday celebration with a special service at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 8 at Faith Outreach Ministries, 200 Tebeau Street.

The program is accepting donations for its meal and clothing program for the homeless.

‘New to You Sale’ at Grace Episcopal Grace Episcopal Church, 401 Pendleton Street, will hold its “New to You Sale” Friday-Saturday, September 6-7.

Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. the first day and 9-11:30 a.m. the second. Gently used apparel, toys, housewares, furniture, books, electronics and more will be available.

St. Peter’s Baptist schedules revival

St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Fireman Street, holds its annual revival Tuesday-Thursday, September 10-12.

The program begins at 7 p.m. each day. Dr. K.C. Davis of First African Missionary Church in Kingsland will lead the worship.

DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The ministry serves people from more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.

Higher Heights has food ministry

The food ministry of Higher Heights True Word of God offers items from 9 to 11 a.m., the first Thursday of each month at 979 Tebeau Street.

Next giveaway is September 5. The program is accepting donations. Call (912) 286-3189. Pastors are Apostle Dr. Artie Smith and Deacon Henry Smith.

Antioch Baptist has revival Sept. 6-7 Members of Historic Antioch Baptist Church, Incorporated, 615 Knight Avenue, will stage a revival Friday-Saturday, September 6-7.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. each day with the Rev. Marcus Nix the guest speaker. The Rev. Raymond C. Williams, Sr. is Antioch pastor.

Way of Cross EPC has food giveaway Way of the Cross EPC holds a free food and clothing giveaway at 8 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at 512 Lee Avenue.

People should bring a bag or box for items. The first-come, first-served giveaway will next be held September 7.

Shady Grove MBC schedules revival Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2909 Hwy 203 in Alma holds a revival Sunday-Wednesday, September 8-11.

The Rev. Robert Wigley will lead the worship at the 11 a.m. service Sunday, September 8 with the Rev. Robbie Gill, pastor of Red Oak Baptist Church, the speaker for the 6 p.m. worship.

Weekday programs will be at 7 p.m. led Monday by the Rev. Justin Gambrell, pastor of First Baptist in Blackshear, Tuesday by the Rev. Brad Waters, pastor of First Baptist in Hazlehurst, and Wednesday by the Rev. Ray McMillan, pastor of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Special singing is planned. Shady Grove pastor is Edmund Thrift.

Men With Power meets 1st Saturday Men With Power meets the first Saturday of each month at Faith Outreach Ministries, 200 Tebeau Street.

The next meeting is 9 a.m. Saturday, September 7. The session is open to all men and boys.
