Pierce Sheriff’s Report

• Impersonating a Public Officer of Employee, Unauthorized Practice of Law Forbidden: James Anthony McClellan, a 48-year-old white male, was arrested Wednesday, August 7 and charged with Impersonating a Public Officer or Employee and Unauthorized Practice of Law Forbidden.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Edwards and Sgt. Donald Shuman responded to a government office in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of McClellan.

• Aggravated Stalking: Guy Richard Monighetti, a 28-year-old white male, was arrested Thursday, August 8 and charged with Aggravated Stalking.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Edwards responded to a government office in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Monighetti.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Keep in Proper Lane, Probation Violation: John Allen Gill, A 51-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, August 10 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Keep in Proper Lane and Probation Violation.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Hunter Griffin conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Gill.

• Aggravated Assault: Thomas Nathan Sweat, a 40-year-old white male, was arrested Sunday, August 11 and charged with Aggravated Assault.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Holmes, Sgt. Bruce Burrows, ACE Unit Sgt. Jacob Winters and Investigator Mercer responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Sweat.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects: Lamonica Latrice Wright, a 39-year-old black female, and Anwar Navarrias Padgett, a 46-year-old black male, were arrested Tuesday, August 13 and each charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects.

Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sgt. Michael James responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Wright and Padgett.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects: Lea Danielle Flowers, a 34-year-old white female, was arrested Thursday, August 15 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Jacob Holmes and Deputy Travis Courson responded to a business in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Flowers.

• Possession of Scheduled III Controlled Substance, Drugs Not Kept in Container: Ana Michelle Barnes, a 24-year-old white female, was arrested Sunday, August 18 and charged with Possession of Scheduled III Controlled Substance and Drugs Not Kept in Container.

Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sgt. Michael James responded to a business in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Barnes.

• Terroristic Threats and Acts, Cruelty to Children (3rd Degree), Probation Violation: Kiser Stokes, AKA “Junior,” a 67-year-old white male, was arrested Monday, August 19 and charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts, Cruelty to Children (3rd Degree), Probation Violation.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Courson responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Stokes.

• Fleeing/Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement, Acquiring License Plate for Purpose of Concealing Identification of Motor Vehicle, Failure to Drive Within Single Lane, Expired Vehicle Tag/Decal, Turning Position Signals Required, Speeding: Anthony Tyrell Murchison, a 59-year-old black male, was arrested Wednesday, August 21 and charged with Fleeing/Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement, Acquiring License Plate for Purpose of Concealing Identification of Motor Vehicle, Failure to Drive Within Single Lane, Expired Vehicle Tag/Decal, Turning Position Signals Required and Speeding.

On August 17, 2024, Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sgt. Michael James conducted a traffic stop Saturday, August 17 in Pierce County. After further investigation, Murchison was arrested.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Probation Violation warrant: Alexis Katlyn King, a 28-year-old white female, was arrested Thursday, August 22 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and served a Probation Violation warrant.
