• Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Fentanyl, Possession of Stolen Firearms: Cody Tyler Morris, a 28year-old white male, was arrested Monday, July 29 and charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Fentanyl and Possession of Stolen Firearms.
Pierce County Sheriff’s ACE Unit Sgt. Jacob Winters, Investigators Wayne Mercer, Greg Nettles, and Cory Belue executed a search warrant in Pierce County, resulting in the arrest of Morris.
• Possession of Methamphetamine, Obstruction, Terrorist Threats and Acts, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects: Donald Sean Merritt, a 42-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, August 3 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, two counts of Obstruction, two counts of Terrorist Threats and Acts and Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects.
Sheriff’s K9 Sgt. Michael James and Deputy Landon Ryals conducted a traffic stop resulting in Merritt’s arrest.
• Aggravated Battery, Riot in Penal Institution: Samuel Wayne Thompson, a 41-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, August 3 and charged with Aggravated Battery and Riot in Penal Institution.
ACE Unit Investigator Mercer responded to a government office resulting in Thompson’s arrest.
