Charlie Giving Back sets giveaway Charlie Giving Back community outreach will stage a food giveaway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24 at E.E. Moore Park.

The first 300 will be served. Recipients need to bring boxes to carry away the items.

Grace Episcopal talks Taylor book Grace Episcopal Church, 401 Pendleton Street, will host a book study of Holy Envy: Finding God in the Faith of Others by renowned author and Episcopal priest Barbara Brown Taylor.

Sessions will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning August 28.

Feed My Sheep sets birthday program Peter Feed My Sheep holds a birthday celebration with a special service at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 8 at Faith Outreach Ministries, 200 Tebeau Street.

‘New to You Sale’ at Grace Episcopal Grace Episcopal Church, 401 Pendleton Street, will hold its “New to You Sale” Friday-Saturday, September 6-7.

Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. the first day and 9-11:30 a.m. the second. Gently used apparel, toys, housewares, furniture, books, electronics and more will be available.

Antioch Baptist has revival Sept. 6-7 Members of Historic Antioch Baptist Church, Incorporated, 615 Knight Avenue, will stage a revival Friday-Saturday, September 6-7.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. each day with the Rev. Marcus Nix the guest speaker. The Rev. Raymond C. Williams, Sr. is Antioch pastor.

St. Peter’s Baptist

schedules revival St Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Fireman Street, has scheduled its annual revival Tuesday- Thursday, September 10-12.

The program begins at 7 p.m. each day. Dr. K.C. Davis of First African Missionary Church in Kingsland will lead the worship.

DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The ministry serves people from more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.

Higher Heights has food ministry The food ministry of Higher Heights True Word of God offers items from 9 to 11 a.m., the first Thursday of each month at 979 Tebeau Street.

Next giveaway is September 5.
