WAYCROSS — Mrs. Linda Gail Music, 74, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at her residence in Waycross following an extended illness.
Mrs. Music was born in Jacksonville, Fla., to the late Horace E. Thomas and Iva Estelle Tillman Thomas. She was a hairdresser most of her life and attended Cornerstone Church of God.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Music was also preceded in death by two sisters, Paulette Rosa Russell and Laverne Thomas; and a brother, Charlie Thomas.
Mrs. Music is survived by her husband of 56 years, Albert Music of Waycross; two sons, Elmon Music of Waycross and Edward Music (wife Joy) of Waycross; seven grandchildren, Ace Music, Josh Music, Ashley Music, Danielle Music, Jocelyn Taylor, Jasmine Taylor, Jaxson Taylor and Jayden Music; six great grandchildren, Acelynn Music, Zoey Music, Hayden Music, Hadley Music, Waylon Music and Kyce Lee; a brother, Junior Thomas of Jacksonville; a sister, Toy Elaine Cox (husband Rufus) of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Friday, August 9 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
