PIERCE COUNTY — Mrs. Stephanie “Lynn” Jordan, 60, died Saturday morning, August 10, 2024, at her residence in Pierce County after an extended illness.
Mrs. Jordan was born December 30, 1963 in Waycross to the late Daniel W. Davis and Shirley Carter Davis. She was formerly employed by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department as a dispatcher.
Mrs. Jordan enjoyed fishing and singing, and she loved her family unconditionally without judgment.
Survivors include her daughter, Brandy Leigh Garcia (Jamie Goss) of Nahunta; son, Gary Vernon Gelissen of the United Kingdom; sister, Stacey Dannette Davis Aldridge (Dustin) of Jesup; six grandchildren, Selena H. Garcia, Daniel J. Garcia, Mackenzie L. Garcia, Dominic Gelissen, Hayden Noonchester and Aleyah Garcia; great grandchild, Wrenleigh N. Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 15 at 10 a.m., at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, August 14) at Music Funeral Home.
