She graduated from Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1963. After high school, she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank before meeting her husband, Harold Atlee Layne. Harold and Jane were married on November 27, 1964 and would have celebrated their 58th anniversary this month. She was known for her beautiful blue eyes, positive outlook on life, strong will and determination and speaking her mind. She had an ability to start up a conversation with anyone who would listen. She loved spending time with her grandchildren during family trips in the summer and over the holidays and in more recent years over the phone or on Facetime.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
