MSH cites Tanner

Angela Tanner, mammography technologist at Memorial Satilla Health, was recently honored with the Sunflower Award for extraordinary team members. The award is part of the hospital’s efforts to recognize non-nurse team members who deliver compassionate care and remarkable patient experience every day. It’s presented quarterly. In the words of the person who nominated her: “She saw a scared and vulnerable patient and took the time to tell everyone that encountered my aunt, to give her a hug. I want to thank Angela. Her compassion and empathy should be recognized. She went above and beyond to make sure a patient felt comforted during a very stressful time.” Tanner, a resident of Waycross, has been with MSH for 21 years. Anyone can nominate one of the hospital’s staff members for the Sunflower Award. To learn more or to nominate someone, visit http://gsmed.co/3DwYz52.
