A wreck Friday afternoon, August 2 involving three vehicles on the second overpass of Ga. 520 near McDonald Street eastbound closed the roadway for nearly two hours, the Georgia State Patrol said. The accident occurred at 1:13 p.m. The vehicles involved were a 2013 Mazda CX9, a 2018 Ford
F150 Super Crew and a 1997 International Harvester tractor-trailer. The vehicles were cleared and the roadway was open for traffic about 3:15 p.m. GSP’s full investigation report of the accident was not complete at presstime Monday evening, GSP Secretary Alicia Jarrard said.
