NAHUNTA – Tabitha “Tabby” Denise Monroe, 37 of Nahunta, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Born February 8, 1987 in Savannah, her parents are William and Samantha Davis Monroe o f Nahunta.
Ms. Monroe was a free spirt and a hippie at heart. She was an incredibly talented makeup artist, jewelry maker and colorist, and the first to pull out a wildly inappropriate joke, especially for her nieces and nephews.
Ms. Monroe has two amazing daughters who were her heart. To know her was truly a blessing. It’s rare to meet someone with a mind that’s as beautiful as their face.
She leaves behind her daughters, Bethany (8) and Prudence (2); her parents, William and Samatha Monroe; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Kristina Davis and Dewayne Monroe; her sister and a brother-inlaw, Traci and Christopher Hickox; 10 nieces and nephews she adored; as well as countless people who loved her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
