DUBLIN — Mrs. Corone Griffin Lewis, 81, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024.
Mrs. Lewis was born July 19, 1943 in Brantley County to the late Onimus Melvin and Alma Medlin Griffin.
She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Barney Griffin, Jesse Griffin, Troy Griffin, Mildred Harris, Loran Griffin, Lonzo Griffin, Marvin Griffin, Chan Griffin, Melvin Griffin, Vera Blocker and Hazel Lee.
She is survived by her husband James E. Lewis, Sr. of Dublin; a son, James E. Lewis, Jr. of Dublin; a daughter, Dana Lewis Moore and her husband Eddie Moore of Dublin; a brother, Coleman Griffin of Fort Valley; a grandchild, Conner Moore; a grand dog, Rex Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but will be announced later.
