We’re all aware of Black Friday and recently Cyber Monday has become a household name, but have you ever heard of GivingTuesday? #GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Okefenokee FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has launched a campaign to utilize #GivingTuesday to raise funds to provide a personalized FCA Bible to every senior athlete in Bacon, Brantley, Pierce and Ware counties. The cost to reach this goal is approximately $5,000. The Okefenokee FCA has been blessed to have an anonymous donor to provide a matching gift of $1,000 to help us reach the goal. Please consider supporting the efforts to put the Word of God in the hands of local senior athletes. Any gift toward this project will be matched up to $1,000!
