BLACKSHEAR – Ms. Kim Rachele Rogers Rowell, 61 of Blackshear, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 7, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health.
Born November 22, 1962 in Jacksonville, Fla., Ms. Rowell lived in Callahan, Fla., for several years prior to moving to Pierce County 25 years ago. She worked for the Pierce County Clerk of Court until her health began to fail.
Ms. Rowell was a member of Hoboken Church of Christ. She loved the Lord, traveling, and being with her family, especially her precious grandson, Declan.
Ms. Rowell was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Douglas Rogers.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Luke Law of Blackshear; her grandson, Declan Law of Blackshear; her father, Billy Norman Rogers of Callahan, Fla.; her brother, Ronald David Rogers of Callahan, Fla.; a special family friend, Melissa Reid of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; a niece, Kelly (Miles) Stutsman; a nephew, Ronald D. Rogers, Jr.; a great niece, Siena Stutsman; and several other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Ms. Rowell will be held Saturday morning, November 16, 2024, at 11 a.m., from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock.
Interment will be in the Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 750 Satilla Church Road, in Hazlehurst at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
