Hickox Baptist to host special event HICKOX — The “Black Light Extravaganza” is coming to Hickox Baptist Church Sunday, November 17 at 6 p.m.
The event is being presented by First Baptist Church Black Light Ministry and the South Georgia Potters House of Alma.
The Black Light team consists of 17 young people ages 10 to 27 with 10 adult leaders and 13 young ladies from The Potters House. They travel throughout the year performing in churches, schools and auditoriums.
All ages, from children to adult, enjoy this presentation presented in full black light. It features Christian songs with human size puppets, signs, streamers, flags, dancing, drama, lights, dowel rods, skits and more. The black light feature gives a striking effect while it amazes the audience.

WOW will be in Nahunta, Nov. 7 NAHUNTA — Southeast Georgia Health System Wellness on Wheels (WOW) will provide mammograms at McKinney Community Health Center in Nahunta Thursday, November 7 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
