BLACKSHEAR — Ms. Jennifer Dale Manning, 48 of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, at her residence.
Born April 7, 1976 in Blackshear, Mrs. Manning lived in Pierce County most of her life. She was a former employee of the American Made Sewing Factory and was currently a student at Strayer University. Ms. Manning enjoyed reading and coloring, was a pet lover, and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.
Ms. Manning was a daughter of the late Ernest Jackson Manning and Marlene Strickland Manning. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Jackson “Tommy” Manning.
Survivors include her children, Keith (Shelby) Altman of Blackshear, Mercedes (Seth) Johnson of Blackshear and James (Renee) Griner of Hickox; her significant other, Scott Durrance of Blackshear; two sisters, Debbie Manning of Brantley County and Donna Manning of Blackshear; her sister-inlaw, Susan (Wayne) Cade of Blackshear; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Jayden, Nickali, Remington, Jax, Annelise, Mila, A.J., Nathan, Francis, and J.T.; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon, October 30, 2024, from the Hacklebarney Baptist Church with Pastor Monroe Gill and Mr. Scott Durrance officiating.
Interment will be in Ben James Cemetery.
