It’s back.
Shop Small Christmas Crawl, a month long holiday shopping event, will take place Nov. 19-Dec. 19 at area shops and stores. Participants are eligible to win three prize baskets including goodies and gift cards from area businesses.
“Cards will be available at all participating stores starting the week of November 14 or at City Hall and the Chamber,” said Bethany Strickland, Betther Hometown Manager. “We will feature local businesses (and any specials they might be running) with video clips on Facebook and Instagram through the duration of the Shop Small Christmas Crawl.”
The event, now in its second year, is sponsored by the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce and Better Hometown Blackshear.
Shop Small Christmas Crawl is an initiative designed to boost local spending and promote Shop Small Saturday recognized nationally the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 26.
Customers can pick up a Shop Small Christmas Crawl punch card at one of the participating local businesses. Any purchase at one of the participating stores equals one punch. Customers who get their card punched at 12 of the businesses can enter a drawing to win a gift card basket featuring cards from the participating stores.
Participating businesses include 84 West, Bennett’s Boutique, BeYoutiful Boutique, Dogwood Apparel, Fifth and Timber, Finley J’s Salon, Gypsy Willows Boutique, Saving Grace Boutique, The Bear Necessities, Corner Market Antiques, Pass It On Marketplace, Trackside Emporium, The Glam Bar, Esthetic Central, Peaceful SkinCare Salon and Spa, Addictive Aquatics, Anytime Fitness, Average Joe’s Pawn Shop, Christi’s DownSouth Living, Country Bumpkins, Dealz Outlet, Dogwood Memories, Ace Farmers and Builders, Josiah’s Blessings, Jot ‘Em Down, Merle Norman, Patterson Art Gallery, Southern Sippin Cafe, Southern Sole Massage and Spa, The Barnard Company and The Sewing Bee.
To enter the drawing, drop off your punch card at the Chamber of Commerce office in the historic train depot at 200 SW Central Ave in Blackshear.
