Sarah Ann Tatum Stegall, 66, of Hoboken, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Born in Alma July 9, 1956, she had lived in Pierce County prior to moving to Brantley County in 2016. She had worked in the sewing factory industry prior to becoming a cabinet maker for American Woodmark. She loved being outdoors working in her yard, hunting, fishing or just exploring. She also loved her dogs and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was a daughter of the late John Cleveland Tatum and Mary Margaret Griffin Tatum Hickox. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Janet King, Darlene Jacobs and Cora Tatum.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann King, Covington; a sister, Nolie (Greg) Sweat, Alma; two brothers, Joe Tatum,Blackshear and Tony Tatum, Forsyth; two grandchildren, Hannah Kelly Brownlee and Destiny Dawn Brownlee; four great-grandchildren, Damien Jacob Moss, Amazin Gracie Brownlee, Serenity Alexandria-Marie Sexton and Nathan Chevy-Lee Clifton and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her wishes were to be cremated. Her family will celebrate her life at a later date.
