NAHUNTA – William Sherrod Farrill, 53, of Nahunta passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman after a brief illness.
Born in Waycross, Farrill’s parents were James William Farrill, Jr. and Hazel Chesser Farrill. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy “Little” Farrill; maternal grandparents, John and Lilly Mae Chesser; and his paternal grandparents, James William Farrill, Sr. and Velva Leen Pietty Herrin Farrill.
Farrill went to Southside Baptist Christian School in Waycross graduating with the Class of 1989. He was a member of Ivory Palace. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart.
Farrill enjoyed listening to music, playing pool, reading the Bible and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He always told others how much Jesus loved them.
Survivors include several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held Monday morning, October 7, 2024 at Oakgrove Cemetery with Rev.
Trey Keene officiating.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
