Lighthouse Christian Academy has ribbon cutting

HOBOKEN — Lighthouse Christian Academy (LCA) held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday, September 7 at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hoboken. LCA was founded March 27, 2024 after Southside Christian School announced its closing. Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church reached out and offered to share their building with a June relocation. Lighthouse Christian Academy is a K3-12 grade accredited private Christian school serving the surrounding counties. It offers a solid educational foundation while teaching students to view their world through the lens of the Gospel. Speaking during the ceremony were Principal Monica Youngblood and Tommy Crews, who talked about his father, Elden Crews, being one of the founding members of Mount Calvary Church.
