ALMA — Garrett Randal Hendricks, age 14, of Alma passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Wanda Hendricks; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Rewis; and great grandfather, Bo Hendricks.
Hendricks is survived by his parents, Josh Hendricks and Ashley Rewis Hendricks; brother, Zane Hendricks of Alma; paternal grandfather, Randy Hendricks of Nahunta; paternal greatgrandmother, Mary Hendricks of Nahunta; maternal grandfather, Johnny Rewis of Alma; aunts, April Music (Dan) of Brantley County, Penny Varnadore (Michael) of Alma, Alyson Roberson (Josh) of Hortense and Lindsey Horton (Mark) of Alma; cousins, Braylee and Braxton Music, Blake Varnadore, Marshall Roberson, Kaid, Jaxson and Charlotte Horton.
A funeral servicewas held Friday, September 6, 2024 from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Bentley officiating.
Interment will followed in Knox Cemetery in Brantley County.
Active pallbearers were Randy Hendricks, Johnny Rewis, Dan Music and Braxton Music. All others will be considered honorary escorts.
Crosby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
